Rodin's 'The Thinker' Was Contemplating Size Of Colleague's Breasts.
One of Rodin's best-known pieces of art has come under stark criticism recently after it was discovered that the subject of the sculpture was told to contemplate something he thought was magnificent.
Art historians from that time are believed to have witnessed the subject saying "great, I'll think of Erica's tits", according to new archives. "Breast have long fascinated man as they're both functional and aesthetically pleasing to the eye", claimed Humphry Van Ruben of Sotheby's.
But the revelation has drawn the ire of some in the protest movement. "We shouldn't have a statue of a pervert anywhere", said one young lady, "if we want to see statues of perverts I'd get some clay and make one of my ex"!
